@Awsomur oh i didn't know that... So the modern AC systems are green, but expensive. Good to know. Maybe we'll buy one in next year... Just my dad thinks it's still 1982 and every 'high tech' stuffs like an AC is bad 😀
The reason I asked is because I’m actually an HVAC technician.
I can say with 100% certainty that air conditioning is not harmful to the environment in any way. It does not let off any harmful fumes under normal circumstances.
.
The only way it could ever be harmful is if the gaseous chemical inside (commonly known as Freon) were to leak out of the pipes. Older types of Freon, such as R-22 (which is now banned from production), do contribute to global warming if released, but newer types have low-to-no GWP (global warming potential)
.
That being said, it’s very expensive, so I get why your father is probably reluctant to lay down $3,000+ for something you’ve lived so long without.
@TakicraftCorporation
@Awsomur AC... What kind of Pokémon is that? 😀
We don't have AC system at home yet, because we cannot convince my father to buy one... Long story... It's not too ECO-friendly anyway... I don't even use AC in my car... But this whole thing is just a secondary reason... Summer is for the road trips, hanging with the homies, staring the nightsky with your girlfriend etc...
@TakicraftCorporation ok
@CrashFighter05 i thought about that... I seen a DIY 'ac' idea recently maybe i'll do that
@TakicraftCorporation you could just have ice in front of a fan, I've done that before.
Haha, well we should all have a healthy fear of new technologies. (or at least new to us: AC has been around since 1902)

Well I may have slacked off and took a little vacation on World of tanks but I am allowed a little break from the stress and construction of SP

Too hot to sit inside? What the heck happened to the AC?
@TakicraftCorporation
It's summer, too hot to sit in your room, also people usually go on vacations, trips etc...
Read them and find out.
