Hi guys. I could use some help with this plane. I’ve rescaled it, and since the 1.8 update, the plane randomly explodes after a minute or two of flight. I already ruled out disableAircraftCollisions on the two prop engines (although it might make sense to double check that), and now I don’t have the first clue on what to try next. Any tips? Also, if anyone would care to try the plane out here to see if you can locate the issue, I’d be very grateful!
Thanks guys
I sometimes have this same problem, if it’s similar to mine this may work, the weight needs to be above 2,000lbs, my Imer planes all weight a lot but I have negative weight fuel tanks so they weight roughly ~2000lbs, if it’s under, even by a pound it will immediately explode upon entering the sandbox
Hope this helps
Ahhh I see.@Hyattorama
Well it’s an old build actually, just wanted to do a little updating since I can’t seem to muster the gumption to do a full on build lately lol
@AerialFighterSnakes
Ahhh your making a new twin prop. Noice.
It was indeed, one of my favorites. @Hyattorama
Haha what a great show that was. @NicePlanes
Thank you, but I cannot take credit for that quote - only for bring it here. The original quote was written by Alan Alda, and said by his character Benjamin Franklin Pierce “Hawkeye” in the TV show MAS*H. @Hyattorama
Lol well put @NicePlanes
Insanity is just a state of mind. @Hyattorama
Ok well at least I’m not crazy so that’s good lol. @NicePlanes
Update: I just encountered the explosions that you were talking about. @Hyattorama
I flew for around 15 mins, then went and did the shark tooth and trench run races. @Hyattorama
Hmmm, ok. How long did you fly it? Also, did you do a lot of aggressive turning? Thanks for your help! :)
@NicePlanes
I am on iOS, and when I tried it on high settings it did not explode but it did teleport a few feet to the right, roll 80 degrees to the right instantly, and then return to horizontal a few feet to the left.
