I just use the new parts. If you want a part inside a nose cone like on my hawkers tempest, I built the main body and used a little bar comings off to put my prop on and tilt into place. Download it and take off the front nose cone to see.
@TheFreakyWatermelon not that it matters to me either way, you can use the method that suits you best. But I am curious to know how you think that the second method mentioned would be more reliable. It involves adding unnecessary pieces, and using the undo button. Whereas the the first method just uses the rotation key. Just curious as to your train of thought buddy.
Well the new fuselage pieces seem to clip well on their own without any tom foolery. As for everything else @TheLatentImage technique works - or you can add the piece ( goes red) then add another random piece to anywhere mking sure it goes green. Then bit the undo button. Your original red piece should be OK now. I'm sure there are various methods. I rarely clip tbh - something I defo need to do more.
I will say that the more clipped an aircraft is - the slower it seems to run - must tax CPU more.
So what I did was I put the block in red, them I save it, then load it in. Then I spam click it until I hear the click or the weigh going up.

@ahappyape thanks for the alternative method, while TheLatinImages method is good and works this might be more reliable! :D

@TheFreakyWatermelon sure thing buddy.
@TheLatentImage ah thanks for the tip!
If you put a piece on and it clicks in but stays red, just rotate it a minimum of one time and it will stay in place.
