Does low quality graphics make a device run better?

So I am trying to make a ship but my phone is running slow but i think that may be because I am on high quality so would making the quality lower make my potato run faster?

@Jetpackturtle well I have 8 months before I can afford it so I have time to get a psu too.

@CrashFighter05 yeah that chip pulls too much for the oem with a 1050ti

@CrashFighter05 good idea, what CPU is in the 7010? if it's an i3 then you might be ok with the oem psu. If it's any other core processor than you'll need a new one

@Jetpackturtle yep I'll probably replace it anyways

@CrashFighter05 Oof, well u can try running off the default PSU, but I would definitely not put anything more than a 1050ti, and never OC it. You'll also need one that draws power from the PCIe slot, and make sure that it's not a 20 watt slot like older optiplexes, because that won't work. I'm assuming it's a 275 watt PSU like most?
    .
I would just try to bite the bullet and invest the 30 dollars for an EVGA 450BR and get a used GPU instead, that's what I usually do. Trust me you'll have a lot more peace of mind with that, plus then you can use the MOLEX connectors (the oem psu has none) and put a red LED fan in it to shine through the front panel.

@Jetpackturtle it took me 3 months to get $70 needed. The rest was from retyrning my laptop, which broke

@CrashFighter05 Actually u do, trust me I've built a ton of optiplexes, u might be fine for a while but your computer's life will be considerably shortened, plus a new PSU is only like 30$

@CrashFighter05 Nice, put a GTX 1050ti or a similar small card and a new PSU and you'll have a great gaming rig

physics quality is the big one, setting it to low will greatly improve your performance.
