Ever wanted to make a replica but you saw that the cockpit bulged out too much? Or maybe you're making your own plane and want it to seem more realistic? Fear not, for this simple trick will make it look better in no time!
First, you must be using fuselage blocks, which is probably the case already. Decrease the height of the area you'll be putting the cockpit on, yes it'll look strange but it's only temporary. The next thing to do is just to put the cockpit on the place you lowered, then bring the fuselage's height back up, and voilà! And if you want to make a bubble cockpit try using a fuselage block + cone in the back. Play around with these things until you get your desired effect. I do this with all of my planes and get spectacular results!
