I went to play Simpleplanes on my laptop, and when I went to open up SP, Steam had to re download SP. When the downloading was complete, My M4 Sherman did not load and there were these two error messages.
I have a crash log, if that helps. I'm not sure what to do, and I really don't want to have to rebuild 15 hrs of work.
Does the plane require mods that you don't have enabled? If that's not the issue, try going here in Windows Explorer:
%APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesignsFind the file and see if there is one that ends in .xml.bak. If so, make a copy of that file and rename it to Test.xml and see if you can load Test in the designer.
If that doesn't work you can try sending us the XML file and the log file to games at jundroo dot com.
Did you try reinstalling SimplePlanes, restarting Steam, restarting your whole computer, restarting everything, etc.?

Also, what laptop do you have & what operating system is it running (Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, MacOS, etc.)?

This site is a good place to put the crash log. And yes, it would probably help.

If you can find the XML file, you can maybe try copying its contents into a new file
@Aerofy I checked the XML file, and there is nothing on it. It's all erased.
