So cranes are pretty cool and making this worked very well and it was beyond popular.
Functionality was key and the visuals were an extra.
There are some tower cranes on the site but I think there could be some improvements.
I am not going to make a replica but I have a crane to base it off in mind:
370 EC-B 12 Fibre
This thing can lift 26,455 lbs Max but only 6,172 lbs when the trolly is on the tip of the boom.
I will try to have as high lift capacity as I can because.. well it's more fun that way.
I guess you can ask any questions you have about this possible Project
@Minecraftpoweer okay
@eVerY0nE Good news bc I made a forum with progress on it.
Yes
@randomusername I now realized that these tubes are probably hollow and might also not be made out of steel, but maybe they are. Ill just lower the mass a bit
@CRJ900Pilot I Think I'll be fine, I'll either make the 24HC 420 height config where I stack 11 of the sections ontop of eachother or the 21 HC 290 that is 9 sections high. Much of the crane is basically making one part and reusing it.
Oof. Let me know if you need any help @Minecraftpoweer
@CRJ900Pilot Yea I have already started, I have almost finished 1 section of the crane, but I suspect this Project might take pretty long to finish.
I think this would be a good project. There aren’t any on the site and it would be neat to try it out
@randomusername Yea I'm used to fixing that stuff on my things already. Kinda the same process as with the mobile crane.
@randomusername Yea I'm working on it now. I actually just gave the fuselages the correct mass..... I'm guessing the crane is made out of steel and apparently it should then have the mass of 128.69x more than original in the game.... daaamn. Anyways now to the impossible, I need to guess how thick thece bars are that make up each section… fck
