I need to figure some things out, like how people make the diamond-shaped fuselage for jets like the F-35. I've seen it on jets, but I can never figure out HOW to do it.
I also need pro tips on this so that I can at least make a DECENTLY GOOD plane...
If you have a suggestion for something that might take a while, please make a tutorial and tag me so that I can learn without falling behind and becoming confooshun
If you want to create decent planes, you need them A N G L E S. Probably learn the basics of paneling using fuselage blocks.
Disclaimer: this is the most time consuming but worthwhile technique. Mastering these quickly will certainly be great
That’s good.
@Jim1the1Squid
I figured out the diamond. Just make a fuselage, make the corners circle, hard, circle, hard, then rotate it by 45 degrees.
@Strucker
custom landing gear and custom control surfaces
And best of all, morse code
Clickbait somewhere.
The diamond tho, no idea.
It is a little time consuming. Feel free to dissect some planes that are built by paneling.
How does one panel? Is it time-consuming?
@spefyjerbf
Paneling is a technique where you make a plane body out of flat parts, or “panels”. This may result in the plane being hollow, or have high parts.
I dont think I completely understand the concept of labelling. Could you clarify?
@spefyjerbf
Looks like some other people already answered. If needed, you can try to panel it too, even if it’s tedious.
They panel it it requires patience and also a right angles for panels.. For beginners they simply use fiseslage and edit the corners.. Hard and circular..
Ooh professional builder huh? Very nice, compliment appreciated. For the diamond shaped fuselages if I understand you correctly, people do the manual corners where 2 are hard and 2 are circular/curved and then the fuselage is rotated by 45 degrees.
Im not great at making plenes I would say because I havent made any recently but I would say to do your research and go for realism. Also I heavily xml mod everything I make and it seems to go well for me hehe so do that aswell. I also think you should share your progress in building and make teasers.
If you are reading the below comments, then bear in mind that I'm trying to ask all of the professional builders that I know.
