Maybe check out some code names that NATO assigned to airplanes. It should be noted that F- words are assigned to fighters, B-’s for bombers, C-’s for commercial aircraft, airliners, and cargo transports, and M-’s for miscellaneous type such as trainers, reconnaissance, tankers, AEW’s, seaplanes, etc. Also, a one-syllable name goes for propeller aircraft, and two-syllable names are for jets.
