Dear Jundroo, and the Jundroo Community,

So i have seen lots of hate to Simple Rockets and we even had an SR2 player come to SP and make a post telling us to stop. I personally dislike SR2 not because its bad but because its just weird controls. I got the engineer bundle on Apollos anniversary and i have like 2 hours of play time. I had no idea the hate was being expressed like that so im honestly surprised when I read that poor guys forum. I have also seen forums on SP saying how sad it is that SR2 got new landing gear while a plane game didn't. Thats what ill be talking about today.

1: Hate

C’mon guys, we are all friends, rockets and planes are both aerospace. Just because a vacuum is weird to you doesn't mean you get to send hate! I'm personally very into model rocketry, video on that coming soon… but im not really into anything above that. Altho i love seeing what NASA and SpaceX and all the other guys are doing I always loved aviation one above that. People argue that in rocketry all you have to do is “Keep the pointy end up, and the flamy end down” but that's not always the case. In fact, in real life I have my own little space program, the overall goal is to make a plane powered by 2 rockets. Both firing at the same time. Which actually took some of my decent electrical skills and some airplane science. Basically what i'm saying is, if you hate the game, get the game and see, then decide for yourself. If you don't want to, then keep to yourself.

2: Support?

SimplePlanes is NOT dead, let's make that clear, you can ask the devs yourself. They don't ‘forget’ us, they just have more priorities right now. They want to make there new game more playable and not make SP have more. That makes sense to me, if your not selfish they you will understand. Most people complaining are high in the rank of SP, but the people who are ‘attacking’ are lower ranked people who don't appreciate game development as much. Not saying that there bad, just, don't post as much or are complete ignorant gamers. Now im assuming a lot, but that's what i've seen in SP. Now im not active whatsoever in SR2 so i'm not sure what they say about us, they probably say fond things about us.

3: Updates?

Here's what i feel about SP, this may get confusing so hang in there.
SP gives us materials to make tools for the game, if they added new landing gear that means all the lets just say 4 year old planes before it will become outdated and almost useless. Its true, think about it from that view. Now, if new gear is added like the one in SP that will mean there will only be 2 wheels, car and the SR2 one. That's because the SR2 landing gear can be modified, alot. So if they give us tools for the plane and not materials it will be like making LEGOs, do it alright and everything ‘snaps’ together. But it's not that simple in real life, and simpleplanes, as it should be. I'm sure this is confusing but I hope you get the idea.

4: What Should be added

Things that improve the creativity of SP players. Like the magnets that were added, they sparked new engines and other amazing stuff! And the winch was also just as cool, with any other things. But a good example is the helicopter parts, that's a tool, not a material. And what else can helicopter parts be used on other stuff that's not a helicopter? I'm like Swiss001, i don't really like helicopters. That's kinda broad example, but it's a proof of concept that my theory may be right. Add materials, not tools.

What Needs to Happen

Stop saying SP is bad, because its not. Stop giving SR2 hate, because they don't do that to us. This one is for the Devs and the Mods of SP and Jundroo, thanks! You guys made my favorite game that i have been playing more that a year and a half, most games get boring by then and thanks for this website also, its amazing and I love the people here. Moving on from that…

SP is more like a platform that supports us to make what we love, if you guys dont love the platform then why are you here?

(I made a lot of assumptions in this, I don't need to here what hate you will give me, this is an idea for you guys to fix some issues)
