Wait, how exactly are you crashing? Is the front wheel touching then flipping the entire plan on it's back, or is it just colliding and exploding like normal crashes?
Try and fidget with the traction on the gear, move around the CoM, CoL, and CoT for better performance. If you are using the reverse-tricycle type of gear, then I can't help you. Try and use a tricycle appearance for the best landing.

Honestly I think that's just that the plane needs better lg, like finish the plane and it should all work well. Good luck
