Trust me, if you make stuff like sweaters, t-shirts, mugs, posters and books most if not all SimplePlanes player will buy it. So you can get funds for improving games.

Tbh how would you 3D print a piston? Surely most of the stuff in the build itself wouldn’t work since it is all made of plastic. Plus what if someone made something that hade a fuselage with like 0 width or something. It would be dangerous because how pointy it is.
@Tully2001 I think they still do? I can remember that it was announced that they started doing it. Idk if anything has changed (like if they have stopped or not) I havent used this feature though, so I wouldnt really know.

books? no, but i'd buy a mug with a pic of one of my trains on it
Looking at the comments below mine, they could just have a feature on the website here, where you can send them a 3D Printing request by linking them to an aircraft on the site, and they can then ship it to you via mail, for an appropriate amount of money.
@thefalkenreich didn't strike fighter post multiple photos in one big post?,you know what, Forget about it.
That would be awesome, and featured posts at the time get 3D printed. @randomusername
@thefalkenreich Yea not necessarily but its a 3rd party source for 3d printing your planes, some users on this site have actually bought their own 3d printers but for the users that only want a one time 3d print and dont want to make an investment in a machine they can pay jundroo to do it. My guess is that jundroo is more of a middle man here that routes the customer (the players) to pay and then some other company prints it and ships it out, but jundroo would get a comission. So yea, they make a bit of extra money.
This is definently not true that most if not all players will buy it. Merch is almost exclusively quite a bit more pricey than any generic item or whatever. Quite a but of the playerbase wont be able to afford the merch. While they can try and we can all hope it works out well, I do not know how well it will go. But as randomusername pointed out they do sell 3d printed planes.
And where did your screenshots challenge go?
