I just recently got 1.8.305 on my tablet (FINALLY!!!) and I was curious as to if this version still has mod support. I wanted to know the answer before I actually tried it.

I think some people have experienced mods not working although im not sure.

I think mod support will be a thing untill 1.9. So all 1.8 versions support mods as far as I know
