THIS IS A GENERAL OPINION. THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS.
White (0-100 points)
These users are the most inexperienced. Don't take advice from them, they usually don't know what they're talking about.
Build Skill: Very poor
Bronze (101-1000 points)
Although these user are more experienced that the whites they are still less knowledgeable than the higher ranks. Take their advice as a pinch of salt.
Build Skill: Poor
Silver (1001-4999 points)
These users are experienced on the site and build nice aircraft. Take their advice, but some with low silver rank may fit into the bronze category in all but points.
Build Skill: Good
Gold (5000-24.9K points)
Highly experienced users here! Feel free to ask for advice. They turn our high quality builds and are very experienced on the site.
Build Skill: Very Good
Platinum (25K-?)
These are the most experienced users. Anything they say is usually right.
Build Skill: Exceptional
MOD (any level)
These are the site moderators. They are always polite, very experienced and happy to help. Be careful though - it's their job to remove rude or "copycat" aircraft and forums and remove inappropriate content. They can also ban you.
Build Skill: Exceptional
DEV (any level)
These are the game developers. They will help you, if they have time. It's rare to see them post a plane and you only normally see them during updates, sales and tournaments.

I must say (I know it said exceptions), that even as a bronze player, I have had the game since the age of blocks. I just never created a account until a little while ago.

Just gonna say this; platinum users are not the most experienced players, nor are we always right, we are still people, i have over 5k hours in the game and I still learn new techniques from time to time. Also not all platinum builders are good at building either, I wouldn't put people on pedestals.

An honest question about the build skill, does it refer to functionality of the build, looks of it, or a mix of both? (excluding part count)
