Patrolling the fleet's perimeter for intruders an S-3 Viking anti-submarine aircraft sighted a Brotherhood of Chaos submarine. It disabled the submarine with a missile to the conning tower and a pair of torpedo boats were guided in to board it. After a short firefight the sub was ceased and the four crew members who hadn't committed "Rapture" were taken to the SWS Repulse. A large number of documents were also found on board and also taken to the Repulse. The submarine was towed to NovrdLisch by the SWS Kestrel.

The documents were analysed, and have revealed that the three ballistic missile submarines are being built in an underground shipbuilding complex under a large island 1,300 miles east of NovrdLisch. We have decided that the submarines must be destroyed before launch, which is scheduled to take place in two days time.

However the carrier battle group is too far away, stationed 60 miles west of the Conegsreich Republic island of Krakabola. The only aircraft capable of reaching the island is the Dark Arrow, which doesn't have the weaponry to strike the submarines in their deep bunkers. The only chance we have to destroy them is to "skip" a bomb through the entrance of the cave, and even then a hit cannot be assured. For that a tactical nuclear weapon will be needed, and they can only be dropped by the F/A-87 Filibuster penetration strike fighter, which doesn't have the range without refuelling. The F/A-87s are standing by should a solution come forward.

I wouldn't expect them to, carriers are vulnerable without escort. But if you head to NovrdLisch first you can load up with troops, supplies and tanks for an invasion of the island, if that's the course of action we chose to take.

It's better if all the units you have in the area all group around NovrdLisch and we can send out one combined Saltwater-Warburg fleet once our nuclear strike mission is complete.
