[SPMRP] The Blockade Continues.

Operation Eskimo - Phase Two

The Saltwater Carrier Nation, United States of Warburg, the Conegsreich Republic and members of the Deutschland are currently blockading the Brotherhood of Chaos island of Commandoria.
.
These are our forces:
29 aircraft carriers.
5 Indestructible-class super-battleships.
87 destroyers.
33 attack submarines.
91 aircraft cruisers.
2 frigates.
4 landing ships.
13 minesweepers.
10 torpedo boats.
1 civilian tanker reconfigured as a helicopter carrier.

.
Multiple Chaos vessels have been intercepted off the coast and destroyed. Currently nine vessels have been sunk.
.
A Bridge-class landing ship made a raid on the island's port, destroying a dry dock.
.
Cruise missiles, railgun shells and air strikes are being launched around the clock to destroy as much of the island as possible.
.
A commando raid was made last night with two Black Hawk multirole helicopters and two Terminator-E attack helicopters taking part. They successfully destroyed a command and control bunker, taking two high-ranking prisoners.
.
A kamikaze MiG-21 hit a Warburg aircraft carrier this morning, severely damaging it. Other attacking MiGs were shot down by the air defences. 70 Warburg Navy sailors died in the attack.
.
The blockade force will remain stationed around the island until the Brotherhood of Chaos inhabiting the island surrender or until we decide to invade. Such an invasion, however, would result in great casualties because of the willingness of the Chaos troops to fight to the death.

    Can they launch landing craft?

They're literally floating military bases that are surrounded by dozens of other ships.
Each SCVAN has three docking bays, one on each side of the ship, between the inner and outer hulls, and a well deck in the back big enough for the USS Iowa (BB-61).

Yes, I'm sorry about your men. The more firepower we put on that island the less of a threat Chaos poses. By all means bring in your carriers, provided they can be properly protected.

I am also able to send over up to 2 Atlas Class SCVAN's.
They will have to be on the outside of the blockade, or they risk exposure to Chaos, seeing as how they're so damn huge.

Yes, very much, except for the 70 Warburgian sailors that passed and the damage to my carrier.

Roger. We can expect their troops to fight to the death, so we are trying to kill as many as possible before sending in our ground forces.

I take it you're pleased with the news?

I will, but with the island surrounded on all sides by a huge fleet and with constant air strikes raining down I can't see them lasting long.

Just let me know if you need them.

Our five new super-battleships also have many railguns, so whilst your contribution is welcome, it isn't strictly necessary.

I'm currently debating the possibility of using the Deutschland's Railguns to shell the heck out of the island despite us currently being in a dry dock.
