@HistoricBirds “Fox” calls indicate the launch of munitions from an aircraft. It's a shorthand for Foxtrot which is often used to mean “fire”. “Fox One” indicates the launch of a semi-active radar guided missile like the AIM-7 Sparrow. Head down and hope the “Chicken Missile” sees its reflection in the ground.

Thank you for your comment.
I know FOX calls. The reason why I made this mod is that Guardian's function is different from real short-range missiles.
Guardian is a short-range missile. Short-range missiles are usually infrared homing, like AIM-9.
As you said, Guardian is semi-active radar homing. But Semi-active radar homing missile is usually middle-range missile like AIM-7. Real short-range missile is not radar homing.
Real short-range missiles are infrared homing, so they are fire-and-foget, but Guardian isn't.
(I'm not good at English. Sorry if I have made any errors in my English)
This defeats the purpose of the guardian. Allow me to explain. You ever wonder why it says “fox 2” or “ fox 1” or “fox 3” in the top of your screen? This is called the fox code. It is used to tell the ground what kind of missile you launched. I cannot remember which fox number belongs to which missile but say fox 1 is active radar homing which means the missile has an onboard radar to find its target. Making it fire and forget. however, the guardian is a semi-active radar homing, meaning it locks faster and you must maintain the lock while the missile is launched. So overall each missile has its own function so if you want fire and forget just use an interceptor.
Prob bc u on Android and it don't support Android @Flyidunno 😁
Only for pc and mac how do i download mods when all is thiss
So what is the significance of this thing
