It was created based on SX-LeMans. Thanks to the person who created the model for this map.
The previous one I made was pretty crap, so I remade it from scratch.
V1.1
—Fixed colliders around the chicane. The sudden bounce of the vehicle has been significantly reduced.
— The file compression format has been changed from 7z to ZIP.
I'll continue to update it by fixing color issues, shader issues, etc. If you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me.
@Nyamomin awesome! Your such a huge help thank you
@Randomplayer
You should watch the tutorial video on map mod creation made by Jundroo. (It's a little old, but you can understand the basics.) I'm a Japanese speaker, so I didn't really understand what the voice in the video was saying, but if you watch it, it's not that difficult. All you have to do is place the target 3D model and have the mod tool read it. There are a few things to be careful about, but there are some parts that I don't fully understand, so ask someone who knows more about it. I also learned a lot of methods from a certain person.
There are also several videos out there of map models from Assetto Corsa being brought over to other games, which I think will be very useful.
what tutorial did you use though? the one made by jundroo?
@Randomplayer
If you want to use a model created by someone else: AssettoCorsa-blender-unity
When you create my own models, you create them in Blender or Unity.
(I'm just starting to learn Blender. image
question. how did you make this? I want to get into moddijg
@LaughingMissile
If possible, next time you do some map updates, could you please debug it on a MAC computer? Do you have a discord account or something?
Gran Turismo vibes
@Nyamomin ah that's unfortunate, although thank you for informing me, I hope you do find a way to fix this. Your mod is very promising and I have been wanting to try out race maps for a while, best of luck to you
@LaughingMissile
Thank you for the information... There were also
some bugs on Windows where the mod was output without ground colliders or textures. I ended up outputting it several times and posting something that was properly output on Windows, but it seems that the mod was not output properly on MAC. The mod itself is quite heavy, so the output is unstable.
I don't have a MAC computer so I can't debug it at the moment.
Problems experiencing in mac (womp womp apple): No road colliders at all it, it basically has no road and my vehicle just lands on the sea and somehow trees lack textures(?)
The grass texture was randomly picked up from the internet, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know! (I used Hex-Tiling to give the tiling a random feel.) It's easy to replace. But it takes almost 10 minutes to output the MOD! lol
@TunderTunder
As for the color tone, I adjusted it to suit my personal taste, so I'm not sure if it's realistic. Also, the reshade settings I used were just random, so I might retake it, and I'll try using the MOD you introduced. Thank you.
Personally, the biggest achievement was that I was able to fix the road collider using Blender. (I solved it by joining the vertices of the mesh that were disconnected around the chicane.) This problem was really demotivating.
Also my discord account is dead. I'm using a new one.
I wish I had a pc
@FinnAatrox
I set the dynamic friction and static friction values of unity's Physic Material to 1 each and assigned it to the road. (The road surfaces of SP's runway and other roads seem to have this setting, so I matched it.)
Don't worry, I got the desired color gamut result about a year after release. Also you can use trees shader for crowds, fix grass texture tiling and color intensity, sand material, and make that tire paths less dark. Additionally, you can use this mod for screenshots, and trees will be looking much better...
The previous version had a low grip coefficient,this time it seems a bit too big again..
@Nyamomin Thanks!
@KeqingForever
yes.
In Picture 5,is the car light a mod?
We hitting the mulsanne straight with this one
