Simple Trenches
NEWS: I'm currently waiting for non static flak and other things that shoot besides the APCs. When something like that is entered, I will add it and update the map.
MAP INFO(Edit1)Fight in the brutal trenches of WW1! This map will eventually somewhat represent the battle of the Somme. Features trenches and a makeshift runway. Sorry for any gaps in the map. This is also my first mod so I appreciate any advice/comments! The map will be officially done once I add either 1 or 2 sides of the map(parallel to the trenches).
FYI(Edit1): I'm not sure if the PC/Mac will work due to it being too large. For Android you can get the source code then rename from .spmod to .spmod-android. This MIGHT work, I haven't gotten it to work on mine but it might work on yours. The other one should work fine. Good luck!
Updated versions may include: More trenches, dead trees, larger map, forts, gunners nest, and a better/ another runway.
Other Maps may cover(Edit1): Verdun, Gallipoli and/or the Meuse Argonne.

-Fought between July and September 1st (1916)
-One of the most bloodiest battles
-Fought along the Somme River

Can you make mode with file extension of .spmod-android? Because non-Android mods with a .spmod extension will not work

@drgunblood First off thank you! The main reason I haven't updated, is that I really want to add more things like flak, actual runways, broken/destroyed tanks, etc. I was going to wait for another update but Jundroo is working on SR2. I really want to make these but I cant. I do not have that ability to make these things myself. I have and still am trying to learn how. The main things I've worked on are textures and size. As for the mobile version, I will be redoing that. Like is said I have little idea of what I'm doing. My plan is to update PC first, and then work on mobile. I think it would be inefficient to update mobile, then PC, then re update mobile. Schedule wise, my summer break is at the end of May, so that will give me more time. Possibly an update(Textures/Size) as soon as April 27-29. It will hopefully happen. I'm definitely going to return to this. Thank you again!
It looks great, but the mobile version isnt working and i really want to try my ww1 planes and tanks on this map. Please either update it or find out whats not working. Thankies!

@Cerdon Thank you very much for the support and thank you for the advice for dome static flak! Eventually texture variety will happen and I will be making it bigger. As for the black background....im not sure what I did. I'm new to Unity and all of this modding so I honestly have no idea what happened. Thanks again!
Textures need variety and the trenches should be highlighted amongst the terrain but this is an early alpha build so and the map, because it is verdun could use a enlargment. Also the black around the map looks odd even compared to just having water
Also Mikoyanster put in his own creations as AI preloaded on a map so you might want to ask him about your static flak
Love to see a Battle of The Bulge map but this is amazing and I think you should focus on finishing this first

@Oski well the destroyer is not flat so it would probably stick out. Even by covering with the map it would still be kind of awkward. I think I will need to learn how to make stationery structures and put that into the map. However I'm still waiting for some individual flak to be added.
@rexinn lol will you try spawning the WW2 destroyer under the map with only flak cannon visible? It may work I think. I'm not able to mod so I don't know how it really works, but it may be worth a try.
@Oski First off, thank you! I have had that idea, but I haven't tested it yet. I'm not sure if it requires any coding to separate the flak from destroyers or if something new is required. I will try to add in something but it might not work and just be aesthetic.
@rexinn is it possible to separate flak cannons from ww2 destroyers and add them here?
