Version 1.0

This mod is obsolete in 1.9 - uninstall the mod, then go into the game settings from the main menu and set the "Unit System" field to metric.
This mod switches the game's units system to metric. This functionality is already in place in the game's code, all this mod does is activates it. That said, it is not expected to be turned on so some things (like the distance indicator on targets) don't obey it. However it works for most things. It was, I must say, very low effort. I wrote two lines of code for this mod. The hardest part is making the mod post. Anyway, enjoy.
@WNP78 Thanks that you told me what the problem is with mod support. by the way, about mods that didn't work, I meant custom mods, like tank tracks or free cam.
@Tech mod support being lost on the new versions arose entirely from technical constraints caused by changing Google Play Store policy. We'd have kept it if we could. I'm not sure why you are complaining about this mod in particular though, because if you have 1.8 or before then you can use this mod, and if you have anything newer than that you can switch the mode to metric from the in-game settings.
due to the fact that the new version of the SP does not support most of mods, I had to delete your PAID version of the game from google play, and download the pirated version 1.8 where everything works. and now, you have removed the mod for the metric system. why? yes, that's is in 1.9. but, if i don't want to play version 1.9, what should i do? Bear it? thanks...
@Wolfy77 sorry, I' m Chinese. I can't speak English, I' ve been using translation software to translate English, but my translation software has a little problem.
@YouLanjie read the huge blue text in the description.
Why doesn't it have a download address?
@YXY666 mee too
@WNP78 I don't have version 1.9, can you hang the mod again? Thanks
@Flyer24 Thank you, you just reminded me this mod still exists, I pulled the downloads and put that note in the description.
@WNP78 Ah thank you for helping me notice that it's now just in the settings... lol
Amazing how many cool mods you guys just put into the game :D
@Flyer24 This mod is obsolete in 1.9 - uninstall the mod, then go into the game settings from the main menu and set the "Unit System" field to metric.
Can you please adapt this to the new 1.9 update? As now there's IAS, TAS and Ground Speed, the mod doesn't seem to "like it"...
Oneless : lb/ft2 >>> kg/m2, ft2 >>> m2
@justanotheranon My main purpose is to be implementing mods, but as the blog post said I'm only working here for a couple of months (since I have to go back to school at some point), so I'll be back to modding then.
@WNP78 Hi i have a question, are you going to keep updating the mods? or now being you a dev are you going to adapt the mods into the game?
Wish this would be in stock SP like a button to switch units, would be so useful.
Omgg tthnx you are the best
I just tried this mod with version 1.8 and it's not working.
it might be low effort, but so happy i don't have to open mile converters or smth.
Thank you so much!
Love it
@ESpanop I'm not doing any maths here. Like I said in the description, it's literally a hidden switch built into the game, which this mod flips.
Great idea, this should be a feature in the game itself! Thing is, you might want to check your thrust conversions. You have 3 kN for the BFE300 when it's really 300, 2 kN for the BFE150 when it should be 150 etc.
棒!
but the wing area, and wing load is still foot and lbs
