A flight control program that allows an unstable plane(CoM behind CoL ) to fly perfectly.

Updated to v2.0, it can now control both canards, tails and vector thrust nozzles, which makes the moves much better.
Still in progress for the v3.0 update, post-stall maneuvers will be added, and I'm trying to find ways that don't occupy the existing inputs.

Known issue:
On Android devices, moving the joystick halfway (instead of pulling or pushing to max) might cause problems.

User guide:
must be flying at high physics setting
pitch, roll ,yaw to control as normal,
VTOL,Trim and act-group7 are occupied, can not be intervened manually

However, deactivating group 8 can turn off the flight control and switch to manual control, that will show you how an unstable plane flies without this MOD

This MOD can be used on other planes, but flying an unstable plane is never easy.
All the requires below must be fulfilled:

  1. All the wing surfaces must be flat-bottom (except the vertical ones)

  2. Need a pair of canards and a pair of horizontal tails. Canards should be connected to rotators with 45 degree range, 100 speed and VTOL as input;
    tails should be connected to rotators with 45 degree range, 100 speed and Trim as input.
    Remember to check the directions, they should be the same as the demo plane.

  3. Vector thrust nozzles should take VTOL as input, range of 45, and act-group can be chosen(default 7),
    attention that they moves opposite as canards and tails do

  4. The plane should have the relation between CoM and CoL similar with the demo plane.

  5. For the MOD settings :
    "wing loading" is obviously the wing load of your plane;
    "pitch tune" are for adjusting the agility of the plane;
    "overpitch suppress" is the strength of suppress move if over pitched;
    "straight flight trim" is a trim for straight flight;
    "VCT group" can be chosen by you

    @lancelot3340 新版飞控很可能只适用于唯一机体,目前看来想要精准控制的话难以实现不同机体适配

    I like it but I used the used the plane you provided but the sys. doesn't work at high speeds 500-1500mph

    @NoelShourai Thanks for informing. This situation does exist cause the controls are based on the player VTOL and Trim channel. With new custom rotator and independent channels it should be solved.

    @LiamW For current version it only work if strictly following my instructions. The mod could be modified to adopt other situations but canard, TVC and flat-bottom are still very important to achieve a good enough performance. The rear stabilizer on the other hand is less important.

    Just to be clear, this ONLY works if you follow your exact instructions including flat bottom airfoil, etc. It isn’t possible to have an unstable, symmetric airfoil, thrust vectored canard with no rear stabiliser?

    Hey, I don't know if this has been fixed for the v3.0 update, but I have an issue where if the AI spawns with the Flight Control system attached to its plane, it either messes with the existing settings on a player-controlled aircraft; or on a non-FC aircraft it causes it to behave as though the system was installed, using the settings from the AI aircraft. Easiest way to replicate this behaviour is to start a dogfight session between a non-FC plane and an FC plane.

    @vonhubert for instance I'm working on improvements of this mod, what you asked is already done, but there are still more things to be added and completed before release

    I wonder why it doesn't work on the wings that assembled on rotator~ and it can't save my Su-35....It will stall when the fule left 20% and unable to fix out.

    @jacephysicsboss A autopilot that is like today auto pilots
    Heading Speed Hold altitude etc
    The autopilot that is in the game just makes your plane stabilize the wings
