Upcoming description: This is definitely not an easy snap-together kit to build; only serious people with lots of patience and the drive to see the end reward should build this. I might get penalized a ton for all the little things and nudging you have to do with the model, but my original intentions weren't even to join the challenge, but rather leave it. A lot of patient work is required to achieve the end goal - it takes me 45 minutes to assemble one kit, and for you guys probably an hour, since you are not gifted with the knowledge of exactly what to do.
There are 60 pieces to this kit and two possible stands you can pick from- a vertical display stand or a horizontal staged view stand. I based it off my 1/144 Revell kit. I did have a lot of fun with this challenge idea, so thanks to Falken for that. Many pieces simply “click” together as long as you do special movements, but some require nudging. I have pre-subdivided the parts so that you can create the scale color pattern easily.
Note: This is DIFFERENT from the functional Saturn V I plan on posting, which currently is in WIP form and has 1,200 parts, along with the Launch Umbilical Tower (not a kit). The one thing I stole from that Saturn V was the LES system.
Actual elapsed time: 45 minutes
For the Airfix Challenge
Decals and Instructions still needed
If you're wondering how many penalties I'm going to incur cause of all the nudging, I originally didn't plan on joining the challenge so many challenge rules are violated

Can you mention me when you upload the finished thing?
this looks ammazing! Fantastic job!
If you're looking to drop the part count, i suggest removing or changing the interior with simpler parts.
