Wow. Didn’t think it would get that bad that far north. Thankfully it missed my part of Louisana but I feel for those that did get hit. Even though it was more powerful than Katrina it didn’t make landfall at the same angle, so the storm surge wasn’t forced up the Mississipi and Lake Ponchatrain, where the levves would have most likely topped and flooded Nawlins. (New Orleans for ya’ll yankees) However several towns did get nearly wiped out down south.
Aight I know this has nothing to do with SP but I just thought I’d share this with the website in case I lose WiFi or something, and am inactive for quite some time on the website as a result, just so that people know what’s happening. Also took the opportunity to make a sorta funny edit to cope with the chaos because I’m stupid like that.
@birb26 click on the menu button in the top right, there should be a “videos” section. In this section, there’s a button that says “create” in the top left, click on that, and the rest should be straightforward.
I am in Louisiana and all that happend for me was the power and internet went out, some branches fell, and some water got into the living room ceiling.
@TrojanAircraftSystems yeah, it’s pretty bad. There’s a bridge in our neighbors backyard that goes across a creek, and the car got wedged under the bridge, idk how the hell anyone is gonna get that thing out of there. I proposed the idea of getting a CAT down there, and hauling the car out with a towing cable to load it onto a truck or something.

I am in Louisiana and all that happend for me was the power and internet went out, some branches fell, and some water got into the living room ceiling.

Ok wait I did some research. Apparently that thing I thought was just God dumping lots of water on us was a freaking HURRICANE...
...underwhelming in my part of New York, but I've seen the damage Ida did and I'm like "holy s*".
Wait there was a hurricane?
