The rover named Journey, accompanied by its rocket companion named Messenger (not shown in the video), will be sent to mars with its primary mission to bring back the samples obtained from the perseverance rover. After it completes its main mission, it will be used to test extreme distance voayges, with its extended mission to visit the broken down opportunity rover and attempt to clean off its solar panels to MAYBE unload some engineering data off of it, after that, it will visit the beagle 2 and pathfinder landers. During these treks, Amtek would like to send landers meant as repair stations to swap out and upgrade parts on the rover, as most parts on the rover are designed to be easily replaceable, even the RTG, hence it`s odd placement. At a mars shaking top speed of 5 miles per hour, it will be able to make these 1-2000 mile voyages in a matter of a year or two instead of the multiple decades required for a rover such as curiosity.
@Dragoranos with Argolaunch, launch prices are slashed by a factor of 10, turning the cost of launching something per pound from $10,000 usd to a mere 1000. This allows for the rover to have a lot of extra bulk, hence the thing weighing over 5 metric tons
