@BogdanX Oh yeah that's one of the many resources I found for F-104 reference, on that note it doesn't seem to limit the speedbrake limitation, just a rule against it.
@BogdanX I'll let you know but there shouldn't be a problem, a month is a very generous estimate for me considering i still have to do the cockpit and decals and also do two separate versions, one with camouflage lol.
@BogdanX yeah for a tube it is deceivingly complex, you can really see the black magic Kelly Johnson and the engineers at Skunk Works did to get everything to fit inside the body.
@DeezDucks when i was building mine I had ChiChi help me with it, I got to a point where it’s nearly impossible to land without a joystick, keyboard couldn’t give me fine enough inputs. Did you do something to replicate the BCL system? I put little engines in the flaps to provide the extra lift given by the BCL
@BogdanX Ah great :) I'm planning on making hopefully two more liveries that would make it look better but the 417 Cold Lake colours are a little close to home for me (literally).
The landing gear and doors as a whole gave me a headache, atleast a week working to get the mechanisms to work correctly, and a total of some 12-16 hours spent redoing the entire area so that the door was the correct shape and size. Benefits that come with working on it for 8 months cause you can't finish anything I guess. Hopefully itt'l be out within the next month or so :)
Converting planes from others is pretty hard which is why I've never done it, Yours looks good regardless, and is only 333 parts while mine cracks 1300 atm without any decals or cockpit soo. I look forward to yours as well, looks like you also got the landing gear to work correctly at least visually.
@asteroidbook345 Yeah the flight manual I got my hands on with all the landing and takeoff speeds confirms it lol, insanely high tolerances and close limitations.
@PacificWesternAirlines Ah I've been meaning to visit that one and also for the museums two Voodoo's, tho I've sat in a CF-104D in Langley a couple years back :P. Grabbing photos of the planes irl is one of the reasons why I was able to get a lot of the plane so accurate, literally crawled under a CF-104 and stuck my head in the afterburner can for photos.
@Shimamurahougetsu If you're saying I should land better, the starfighter is known to be a hard plane to fly and land especially IRL, while also juggling the camera position and stuff. You'll get to test how hard it is to land soon enough lol.

They weren’t the best at flying it @asteroidbook345

@DeezDucks Can confirm, there's a reason the Germans called it the Widowmaker

Better landing!
@KDnotSpy oh I mean idk, I've been working on mine on and off since the fuselage cutting update came out 8 months ago.
Better than Bogdan
The fact that BogdanX is also making one is a big coincidence
