In order to reduce the radar cross-section (RCS) of the aircraft, the F22 canopies are coated with a thin layer of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), which gives it a golden tint. Now, I made a 1minute video on how to make a shiny canopy. This only looks good with a 4.5 or 5th Gen fighters. In my case, I use a random plane form my build. Enjoy!
@sus232 Have you tried this. Make your canopy a mirror then change both opacities to 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and check out the different looks you can get. I had no idea.....Z😺
Holy hot dogs Bat Man, I didn't know you could do this ! So cool ! When I first started watching the video I was thinking "You're kidding me right ? !" But I seriously did not know that trick. I'm changing my planes... Z😺 I just did it ! Sweet. I tried 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 they all have unique looks to them !

@Kangy my pleasure
@ShinyGemsBro oh mate that is awesome thank you!
definitely of major use for most fighter jet builds.
@ShinyGemsBro thanks for sharing
@Kangy
This
Or this for glass fuselages
For the glass fuselage, you change the one-way color visibility via
hideInside
@Kangy
This
Or this
@ShinyGemsBro really?
hows that work??
@Kangy You can set the canopy colors to be one-way via XML
That way only the tint can be seen from the outside, but not from inside.
@Kangy Well, this is just for the look.
ok but how does it look inside the cockpit when flying?
im willing to bet a lot of money that it affects the pilot's visibility pretty negatively
The plane in this video is already posted a few weeks ago:
