Today 7/23/2023, I went to the Plane View Park near the LaGuardia Airport and took these video clips. All planes landing at this runway are domestic flights and not the largest ones like Boeing 777, 747 or A3xx series. But still, it was quite an exciting view to see. This place is about 45 minutes drive form my home. There are 2 major airports in the New York city, LaGuardia and the John F Kennedy airports. There are many helicopter pads and seaplane bases in New York city, mostly around Manhattan area.
@VinFage Not all video has to be direct SP content, but it has to be RELEVANT to this site, as it said: "The video must be relevant to SimpleRockets and/or SimplePlanes. If not, it will be removed by a moderator." - I post this video for everyone who needs reference, to look at the details.
If you live in Queens, this place will be very close to you - maybe a 25-minute drive. Google map link: https://goo.gl/maps/vFdKDoejMrJXjRRs5
I live in Brooklyn,, so we are in 45 minute drive. welcome any time
Wait, non-SP content is allowed in this site?
Btw, I live in the Queens area. Sometimes, the airport use the alternate traffic pattern just to see and hear the planes flying above my house
@WinsWings I know this aircraft carrier a Brazilian Youtuber called Iberê from the Manual do Mundo channel already pays a visit to the aircraft carrier
@WinsWings Here in Brazil I think these museums Aeronautics are very undervalued on the contrary In the US, which has many museums, here there are only 2 large museums that are in good condition, which are the MUSAU and the TAM Museum
@Gabriel747 thanks. I have hundreds of photos that I shot in the museum in Washington DC and in the Air and Space Museum in New York (which is about 45 minutes to get there from my home). I want to visit again to DC since there are all exotic staff. V1 flying bomb, Me 262, all historical staff
first aircraft is either a 727 or an md80
second aircraft is a320(?)
third aircraft is an a320 as well, not sure on this
fourth aircraft is an embraer aircraft of undetermined type, i dont know embraer crafts that well
fifth aircraft is an md80
not sure for all the aircrafts in the panning shots
sixth aircraft (the one taking off at the end of the pan shot) is an a320
seventh aircraft on landing approach is unknown
keep in mind these are all probably false, i am garbage at plane recognition

@LM0418 Sounds like we both are in the USA but at 24,00+ miles apart
@WinsWings I went planespotting at the famous in-n-out at LAX, and I know the sounds of jet engines can be beautiful.
Ah, nothing like the soothing sounds of aviation.

The second is Embraer 170
The fourth is also E-170
@G2 the first is a md-80 bc no 3rd engine on tail
