Another slightly longer than socially acceptable video showing off taxing, the elevators/hangar, and recovery operations on the carrier thing. (Ignore my terrible landing plz) Keep in mind this is an older project that I only recently remembered existed and wanted to showcase, so a lot of things will definitely fine tuned before potential release.
Also, there'll probably be 1 more video posted soon showcasing an attack on the USS Tiny 2 fleet or something, so yeah

ok shleepy tiem again
@dekanii that exposed bit is actually the opening for another flight deck, which kinda made sense at the time considering bi planes like the swordfish don’t need as long of a flight deck, and the more planes taking off the better. Pretty sure the Japanese experimented with the multiple flight deck concept with Akagi at some point too, she had 3 separate ones in 1927 lmao.
Definitely doesn’t seem conventional now, but the courageous class as a whole was weird in general anyway.
@TemporaryReplacement i dont get it, why does the Courageous class has a freaking exposed hull on the front, rather than just cover it with flight deck
@dekanii it shouldn’t be too hard, I remember there was a shipbuilder that deleted their account that made really good functioning low part carriers and other ships with like less than 500 parts. It’s a really cool concept generally. Here’s HMS Courageous by them that I have saved
@dekanii yeah, right now it’s 1234 (hmmm) parts cause I originally made it for myself and didn’t really have part efficiency in mind lol. After I add the hellcats I’ll see how many parts there are and try to remove as many parts as possible
(As well as make versions with less planes)

@TemporaryReplacement same
@dekanii yep, early carrier development is really interesting to me
@TemporaryReplacement true true
most of the early carriers hull are from colliers

I guess it has something to do with its original hull..

@TemporaryReplacement I really want to make like this, with exception it has lower than 1k part count

I bet this build it atleast 1000+ parts, right?
