@YarisSedan i would have to spoil some of the lore to explain what i mean by ascension. I will say, it all ties directly back to this creature, as improbable as that sounds.

We'll say that it's not from our world. Some sort of massive energy burst, something powerful enough to create a rift in space time, something to warp our reality. It doesn't belong here. Until the next localized reality distortion sends it back to where it came from, it will stay within our realm, nothing we can really do about it.
