The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a twin jet-engine, mid-wing all-weather attack aircraft. In service with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps between 1963 and 1997, the Intruder was designed to replace the piston-engined Douglas A-1 Skyraider.

An update to my previous version. Adjusted wings, tail, engines and nose. Nearly perfect balance without tanks...so skim the terrain just like it was meant to.

Note inner flaps bound to yaw (there for looks) so either don't use yaw or reassign to inverted pitch.

Nice job, when I saw your recommendation for me to check out your A6, which looks great for a smaller plane, since it's harder to get across the details. I was looking through the highest rated planes and found this: very shortly after I rated your other one. Anyways, the improvements you made were great and perfected the plane.

@authors, thanks, you're right inverted pitch is a good option for those flaps.

Looks really good and flies nicely. I set the "for looks only" flaps to inverted pitch which worked fine and doesn't interfere will the regular yaw control.

@maverickvii Yeah. I wouldn't suggest getting rid of the tail but just the control for rudder. I did it when I downloaded it. Still a really good design though.

@WWIIPlaneBuilder @jettison as most don't use rudder, I intentionally bound those flaps to yaw. They're there just for looks as the a6 has flaps all along the wing.

Really good design and performance. However, I think you should change the flaps and rudder problem by getting rid of the rudder control as all the people I know in this game barely use rudder anyway. Other than that it's great.

I've noticed one problem... Your configuration with the flaps and rudder, other than that it is great!
