EF TU-110 Moissonneuse
Hey everyone! Supercraft888 here again, and I have brought here a turret! It's of Epochxian design so it's meant to be very advanced looking. Hopefully I accomplished that looks with this, if you have any suggestions on ways I can improve then just say so.
Thanks to Dllama4 for helping slow the ROF down of the guns.
---Instruction---
•VTOL to traverse the gun
•TRIM to elevate the gun
---Description---
The TU-110, created by Abel Cartier is a defence turret made by the Epochxian Vanguad Defence Commission early on to defend the country of Epochx from wildlife that would try to breech the countries wall. It would also be put on starships as a anti air gun. The name moissonneuse for The TU-110 was becuase it was marketed under the name of Moissonneuse (moissonneuse means reaper in French) to other contractors.
The TU-110 is an automated turret manning two 76mm vx15r dauntless railguns on each side, making it a very powerful weapon. Becuase it was used railguns it didn't need to lead shots all that much and could take out targets from very far away. In addition the 76mm railguns were quite potent and were extremely effective at turning away wildlife from the city and tearing entire aircrafts in half with a singe shot. Furthermore, since space is a vacuum, the weapon was also an effective anti aircraft weapon as exemplified when it was mounted on Epochxian starships and GRA starships albeit in smaller quantities on the GRA starships. The design would later be copied on USF starships and replace the larger and slower Y-99 SDT on USF starships. Another feature that made this turret so versatile is its ability to be suddenly placed in the middle of battle by being dropped from a starship via a drop pod, or a normal drop ship capable of carrying the TU-110's weight.
