I recommend that you use the mouse control. Basic controls: Landing Gear = Hover / unlock Yaw: In flight the yaw is combined with the roll. In hover you can use normal control. Pitch: Aim / Direction I have thought about adding a fuel cannon to this ship but I don't know how to build one correctly. Good luck.
