When 6th Gen Aircraft started being introduced the Air Force ended up deciding that since the A-33 was already the newest addition to the Air Force Fleet that instead of designing an entirely new attack plane from scratch they opted to make a 6th Gen version of the A-33 by adding UAV Compatibility and remodeling the Wings. This ended up saving the Air Force and Ott billions as designing a new aircraft would not only cost money but take a decade.
