This aircraft was a proposal for a high-speed fighter that would use the in-development Rolls-Royce Griffion engine and would be able to obatin speeds of 470mph, though it was not ordered into production possibly becuase it was wooden in construction or the fact the that the Ministry of Aircraft Production didn't believe an aircraft could obatin speeds of 470mph with such thick wings
