The ACI-A-13 is a weird little mixed-propulsion attacker the Head of ACI made when they let him design a plane on his own (normally, while the head of ACI does help with plane design, it’s not all on his own), the reason for the 3 inlets was according to the head of ACI was “So we can use a less powerful engine than we normally would to achieve the same amount of power, since the prop will push air into the inlets, and that air will flow into the jet faster than normal, thus increasing speed, while having a less expensive engine, or that’s what a person who cares about cost would say, so I put our biggest engine that would fit in there, while still getting a power boost”
