Twin Pummeler Attack Mk 2
"We were desperate refugees. We had enough food for one more day, and water for two. It would be five days before we had a chance to reach Leon; if we did. The engine on our boat was running rough, and the captain wasn't sure if it could run much longer. Then, the drone of an airplane engine creeps into our ears, as we see a strange airplane fly over us. If I were to describe the plane, it looked like two old fashioned fighters joined together.
At first we were frightened; it circled around and dropped something with a parachute. We immediately thought it was a bomb. Our captain steered to avoid the bomb, and it landed in the water about two hundred meters off the side of the boat, where our boat would have been. When we came closer, it turned out to be an orange box, not a bomb as we thought. Snagging the parachute lines, we found days worth of food, water, and a radio to tell the world our plight! The pilot told us through the radio that we should stay put, and that he had packages of chocolate for the children which were on the deck. The captain obliged, and to his word, he dropped a tin with a parachute onto the deck. The children immediately opened the can and shared it with everyone. I felt elated to see that the children are happy, especially my son. Oh the joy on his face, the first I have seen it in months! We looked up and saw the strange plane circle our position. It did this for two hours. When the pilot said the Pilotmario Navy would pick us up in an our, it wagged its wings and flew off. To this day, I believe that plane was an angel of God."

A more controllable variant of the Mk 1, and the definitive version. As parts for the custom engine of the Mk 1 were increasingly rarefied, it was decided to fit a new 4,000HP engine similar to the type used on some Navy aircraft. Its eight guns were reduced to six, and were converted to Mk 8 cannon. The center wing was shortened in order to improve single-engine operability. This variant was very popular with pilots, who could afford to take shifts; one pilot would be flying while the other would be resting, and would switch off. However, they woudl be phased out slowly; they required almost double the maintenance hours of a Pummeler, and the Pummeler for most roles was sufficient, meaning it could sortie more often. This aircraft remains in Coast Guard service, where the long-range, two pilots, and good performance across all flight regimes made it a valuable aircraft. It replaced the Pummeler Recce in this role.
It was most famous for its role in the beginning of the Third Olympian War, when many Sanctan refugees fled the onslaught of the Olympian Army. Many set off in boats, hoping to make it to Leon or to a Pilotmario Navy warship. The Pilotmario Legislature, backed by popular support, decided to mount recovery operations. To this end, Coast Guard Twin Pummeler Attack Mk 2 were deployed to sweep the seas for refugees. While they could not rescue them, they often dropped food, water, and waterproof communications equipment which to contact a waiting Navy helicopter or warship. It is estimated that the Twin Pummelers assisted in the rescue of 55,000 Sanctan refugees. It was soon known as the "Chocolate Bomber", after the unofficial practice where some pilots would drop chocolates from the air when children were on-board. 11,000 of this types were made.

@Supermini555 I shall make an updated variant of this aircraft.
@Supermini555 Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
We have replaced the Twin Pummeler with the Aerotech Bandit Surveyor.
We gonna need a MK 3 (Not the other one in the sucessors)
Thanks! @Liquidfox
@Seeras You mentioned something about twin planes, right?
Yes it did @Pilotmario
@Hadesrocks I see.
The story did its job I suppose.
Just so touching @Pilotmario
@Hadesrocks Yes?
...@Pilotmario @ian1547 ....
@Hadesrocks Yes indeed. This is why the Pilomtarian Republic has declared war on the League of Olympia.
Wow... @Pilotmario
@ian1547 Thanks!
:..) Touching story.
@ian1547, @Hadesrocks, here's a touching story for you.
