DFI - 115 (Thaddäus Böhnisch's fighter)
Long often considered the backbone of the Dieswenian Airforce in the Second Global war, the DFI - 115 was the most mass produced fighter and arguably one of the most efficient fighters of its time with 7 out of the 10 highest scoring Aces from the second global war piloting a variant of the DFI-115. the 115 was introduced in the early spring of 1937 initially as a high speed interceptor for potential enemy bombers - the aircraft quickly became a favorite among pilots due to its high maneuverability, center-lined armament ( a first for Dieswenian Mono-wing aircraft), and wide view range.
This specific designation was Thaddäus Böhnisch's night fighter squadron -
Thaddäus Böhnisch was a Dieswenian fighter pilot with the highest confirmed kill count in the Second Global War with nearly 600 downed enemy planes, also known as the Angel of Death, many Iosian and Nordenvok pilots would abandon their missions upon sight of Generalleutnant Böhnisch's DFI-115 due to its Renown, so much to the extent that more inexperienced pilots would often have a similar marking to the aircraft.
Thaddäus Böhnisch was shot down towards the end of the Second Global war by an unkown Iosian Pilot, his body was found in his aircraft with no apparent attempt to bail out.

@LegnaK Np mate.
@Neenyboy Thank you, I greatly appreciate those kind words :)
@LegnaK that's absolutely amazing! I'll definitely be Keeping tracks of you. I love everything about it, please keep at it!
@Neenyboy yes I am doing something similar to alternate history, its much like an Ace Combat universe being a totally different looking earth.
almost every aircraft I make has a lore to it as I love creating stories, and actually, I am currently working on a game that will feature most of the aircraft I've made ( most needing some major updates in terms of design)
Ah! I love it and are you also doing a alternative history thing?? Just wondering I'm super interested because I'm also doing that haha XD also love the design and you've gained a follow I love the lore as I said.
