In 2398 G.T., tensions between the Wright Republic (WR) and Democratic Krakabloa (DK) boiled over, thus starting the Three Years War. In late 2398, the Krakabloan Air Defence (KAD) was in desperate need for a light aircraft that could be used for a variety of different uses, including spotting, light ground attack, and in later models, dogfighting. Imperial Aircraft Works (IAW) answered with the B1-PN in mid 2399. It had impressive STOL capabilities and was maneuverable enough to fly through Krakabloa’s canyons without trouble, with the cost of reduced range. New pilots also liked the plane, as its simple cockpit enabled minimum training. This model here, a modified B1-PN-D carrying heavy air-to-ground arnament, used by the KAD squadron “Axel’s Revenge,” named after the late General who died in a WR bombing, bears a summer monotone camouflage. This model has a top speed of 290 miles an hour, and a range of 25 miles. Happy hunting!
