Description
The Vickers Type 151 Jockey was an experimental low-wing monoplane interceptor fighter powered by a radial engine. It was later modified into the Type 171 Jockey II, which had a more powerful engine and detail improvements. Only one was built; it was lost before its development was complete, but the knowledge gained enabled Vickers to produce the more refined Venom. From Wikipedia.
Notes
This is my first attempted replica of a actual aircraft, not inspired by, completely authentic. It’s alright. I started this at eight in the morning during class, and now it’s thirty after midnight. It’s definitely not the best, helped by the fact that I only had two grainy black and white photos to go off of. It has its issues such as a tendency to roll right and handling characteristics that are most likely not accurate. I couldn’t find a picture or description of the cockpit or instrument panel so I took creative liberty in that area. I hope you find it alright. Please leave feedback in the comments.
