Yakovlev Yak-42 Fars Air Qeshm
The Yakovlev Yak-40 is a small, three-engine jet aircraft. The aircraft made its maiden flight on October 21, 1966 and was in production from 1967 to 1981. The Yak 40 was introduced in September 1968 and has been exported to other countries since 1970. A total of 1,011 of these aircraft were produced in various models. The Yakovlev Yak-42 is a three-engine passenger jet with a capacity of 100 to 120 passengers. The Yak 42 is the first passenger aircraft in the Soviet Union to be designed with high-bypass turbofan engines. The Yak 42 first flew on March 7, 1975, was unveiled on December 22, 1980, and was produced until 2003. A total of 185 aircraft in different models have been produced from this aircraft.
