Fmuri 4 fighter (English: Fmur4 fighter, code: Phantom II, once numbered: F4H, commonly known as MacDonald Douglas Fmur4 "Ghost" 1), is an American two-seat, twin-engine, all-weather long-range supersonic air defense interceptor or fighter bomber. The Fmuri 4 fighter is a typical representative of the second generation fighter, with balanced performance in all aspects, not only good air combat, but also good ground attack ability; its disadvantages are excessive turning radius, poor maneuverability at high angle of attack, poor performance at high altitude and ultra-low altitude, and high requirements for runway during take-off and landing. The Fmur4 fighter was designed in 1956 by (McDonnell Douglas, of Macdonald Douglas (now incorporated into Boeing). The first prototype was tested in May 1958. The production model was officially delivered to the Navy in October 1961. It entered the Air Force in November 1963. It was the main fighter of the United States Air Navy in the 1960s and 1970s, and participated in the Vietnam War and the Middle East War. It was also a performance aircraft of the Thunderbird aerobatic team of the United States Air Force.
