Basically a challenge to make a plane with some weird handling quirk. Examples: F-14 roll input reversal issue, Thrust vectoring planes becoming unstable, and Canard planes having weird stability problems. The weirder, the better.

Scoring
10pts for the look of the build (full realism isn’t necessary)
10pts for the handling*
Bonus
5pts if the weird handling lets you do a special acrobatic move.

Limitations:
-No replicas
-No gyroscopes
-Must be somewhat mobile friendly
-No mods, but XML edit as much as you want
Obviously don’t steal someone else’s plane lol

Weird/interesting looking planes probably will score higher than normal “conventional” designs.
*A full 10 point handling score means that the handling flaw is noticeable and predictable, and that it can be recovered from or prevented with intentional control inputs. (Like the roll reversal on an f-14)

Delta wings, wings on pylons, Jato Rockets, Tail Canards, Thrust vectoring in a weird spot, motorized wings, MIXED INPUT CONTROL SURFACES, V tails, upside down tails, the wright brothers plane, Low engine horsepower, Rotating engines (like the osprey), Ornithopter (bird wings), designing a plane for an obscure military function, planes that land on their tails, pistons attaching wings, shocks attaching wings… etc

Deadline is October 15th. These planes shouldn’t take too long to build, so upload them whenever you want. If you are working on a plane and think it might not make the deadline, just tell me and I’ll extend it a bit.
