For takeoff:
Throttle 100%. The fighter will pitch down while gaining altitude then activate group 1.
Once the fighter is level, deactivate group 8.
AG1 unlocks main engines, variable sweep wings and afterburners.
VTOL down to sweep wings and activate afterburners.
As the UWA lost its hold on most of its mines and factories, their technology started to take a step backward. Their troops started to recycle ammunition by collecting leftover scrap and processing them in their dwindling number of supply factories. Fighter squadrons were sent to battle without proper armaments and even the fighter craft themselves lost the technology they were famed for. Current-gen fighters like the Xynogriffon, ZX-001XC, FA-40EXC & Draekon Alpha became too expensive for production and the UWA had no choice but to produce cheap aircraft for their use. One of which was the Pitviper, a variable-wing ASF based on 4th gen fighter F-16 and 5th gen fighter F-35 and armed with a meager pair of CN-11T Pyrus autocannons. While it suffered from the lack of a fusion core, lack of missiles and poor armor, the Pitviper was a very easy to use fighter and at a production cost of 23 million UWAc ($67 000 000), the Pitviper was also very easy to replace and produce once a unit was destroyed.

@JoddyFubuki788 it is possible that the pilots and several other soldiers survived the final battle, as the probe detected multiple human life signals on Earth but never had the chance to investigate due to the probe's incapability of reentry
@JoddyFubuki788 their fates were never actually known, but according to data retrieved from a scout probe sent back to Earth hundreds of years after PCW, it was most likely that they went down in battle. The live feed from the probe showed a massive debris field surrounding the dead planet, most of which were remains of fallen orbital stations and starships. The probe was able to identify the wreckage of one of the fighters that was part of the legendary Garuda Squadron, an elite wing of the UWA
What about the Fate of Garuda Sqn., @Ephwurd ?
@JoddyFubuki788 yeah my idea for the final battle is that the UWA would buy the refugee ships enough time to spool their jump drives while the NEM pushes through the UWA blockade to relinquish their "stolen" jump drives. The battle will be fiercely fought, no holds barred, until when the refugee ships have jumped to random star systems across the galaxy to avoid pursuit.
So that means PCW is more than a self destruction of both sides? @Ephwurd

About the outcome.... UWA has able to protect and take control of NEM's factory thanks to the help from Pitvipers and Garuda Sqn....
