Tolurov Tol-143 "Gigant"
Description:
The Tolurov Tol-143 is a large 4 engine strategic airlifter developed by the Tolurov Design Bureau for the Kulsa Air Force, It accompanied the Arel A-48.
Aircraft Development:
In 2050, the Kulsa Air Force accepted the Arel A-48 Strategic Transport, it is robust, strong and capable of fulfilling its task, however, the Kulsa Army doesn't have enough A-48s to fulfill its roles, since the A-48 was expensive it was taking a long time and a lot of money to produce (10 Arel A-48s are in service), and so, Kulsa Army wanted a plane that could match the Arel A-48's performance but be more cheaper. And so Tolurov proposed the Tolurov Model 143 (TM-143), The Kulsa Army and Kulsa Air Force (that later joined), accepted the proposal and requested a mock up. After that, Kulsa Army/Air Force requested to move to prototype testing, and after 4 years they began to approve serial production in 2057, giving it the Kulsa Designation of MSA-143 (Medium Strategic Airlifter-143).
