Curtiss P-36A Hawk

10.5k Brencool35  11 months ago

This is a replica of the Curtiss P-36A Hawk. This plane served to bridge the gap for American fighters leading up to the Second World War. Although this plane was not an amazing performer for its time, it helped defend Pearl Harbor and served its purpose well. The airframe this aircraft was based on was used for other aircraft from the United States, like the famous Curtiss P-40 Warhawk. Personally, I absolutely love the design. It is simple, elegant, graceful, and the livery is quintessentially American.

Engine on - group 1
Flaps - VTOL

Enjoy!!!
