Saunders-Roe Princess
This behemoth was the largest all metal flying boat ever built and she was a beauty! Designed to carry over 100 passengers in comfort and was intended for the long range market. After building 3 the project was unfortunately cancelled amid lack of interest from BOAC (otherwise known as the Boeing only airways corporation, who incidentally have put quite a few final nails in the coffins of some great British aircraft). VTOL down to raise the wing floats and take off is anywhere between 150 and 200 mph. The slower take off requires a little bouncing to get airborne, much to the chagrin of the g&t sipping 1st class passengers! Hold throttle back to engage the "water brake" when landing - this slows things a little quicker however it does drift for some time. My build requires a little trim but will fly from the water take off location to that snowy island burning only 8% of fuel. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks @GhostHTX. Yeah I do like all those 'what could have been' aircraft of that period that were sadly cancelled due to the lingering effects of the war, competition and indecisive requirements.
I think we share a passion for post war British stuff. Bloody awesome job!
