The M1 Plover ARV was a light armored reconnaissance vehicle used by the UN briefly starting in 2104, before being rather quickly replaced with the M2 Plover ARV. Being built on the same platform, the M1 Plover was renown for its maneuverability, relative comfort, and misformulated seat cushion foam lending the interior a "sharty bad jalapeno cream sauce beer fart" odor in temperatures above 5 degrees. The aforementioned odor issue, being the reason for the commissioning of the M2, has since been resolved.
