Take off

  • activate groups 1, 2 and 3 (this activates engine 1 and 2 and the boosters)
  • Set throttle to full and wait until you reach 550km/h (342mph)
  • pitch upwards and lift off
  • Immediately turn off boosters by setting throttle to 0; deactivating group 3 and setting throttle to full
  • Retract landing gear
  • Active group 4
  • Adjust trim

Landing

  • Get close to runway
  • Set throttle to 0
  • Extend landing gear
  • Touch down

2: Engine 2
3: Boosters
4: Balancing (Helpful for cruise/landing)

Tips

  • Don't use autopilot
  • The plane can float in water when given sufficient power
  • Don't use boosters when cruising
  • Use boosters for steep climbs
