The real one
The ASW17 is an high performance glider designed by Gerhard Waibel from the German manufacturer Alexander Schleicher GmbH & Co.
He flew for the first time in 1971 and was built until 1981.
There is only 55 units built.
It has an impressive glide ratio of 48.
Mine
As I personnally find that this glider is one of the most beautiful ever built I wanted to create one on Simpleplanes.
Unfortunately, I'm not a good builder so I gave my best to design this, which is by far my more complete creation on this game.
It fly pretty well in my opnion even if it's not the best glider I've designed.
