About
After 2020, the US Navy began retiring its aging fleet of Greyhound carrier-based transport aircraft. Their replacement? The versatile yet limited V-22 Osprey. While capable in many roles, the Osprey fell short in range, payload capacity, and cruising speed for the Navy's growing needs.
Recognizing these limitations, the Navy called for a competition to design the next-generation carrier transport aircraft. After a rigorous evaluation of concepts from leading aerospace firms, it was Win's Wings Aviation’s innovative Greyhound II design that emerged victorious. This new aircraft promised to combine the reliability of its predecessor with cutting-edge performance, ensuring the Navy’s logistical capabilities remained unmatched.

@WinsWings honestly, it's a life goal someday, I also wanna see the battleships too, and USS Slater, cannon-class has a weird place inside me lmao
@Monarchii I wish you were here in the US. I have good amount of museums to visit. And can’t finish one in a day
@WinsWings I envy you XD
@Monarchii Ah, yes, also inspired by C-123K Provider - which I saw at the Air Mobility Command Museum last year
@WinsWings I see.. I have to say though, the front view of this looks very neat, I quite like the silhouette
@Monarchii thanks, lol,,, It based on Do-31E
ngl the concept is hella cool
Wow
@Sockdragger Thanks, noted for next time
Conventional take off and landing take a bit of getting used to (I would have wished for flaps and air brakes) but otherwise quit a nice plane with lots of details. I love it
@IQinventory thank you
very nice bulid.
US navy should really adopt this concept lol
@dabestsock yes, like the Sherman with wheels
I didn't know they made one without a radar
Cool :)
